东京的某私立大学的法学院的入学生主人公・多田万里在前往新生入学说明会的路上迷了路，遇上同样迷路的柳泽光央，并成为朋友。之后在要前往新生入学说明会的路上时，遇上了一位手持一大束玫瑰花的美女。她将手上的那束玫瑰花殴打万里与光央的脸，并将花束丢给光央，告诉他“恭喜入学”后离开。原来她是光央的青梅竹马・加贺香子，并且与光央有婚约（香子单方面决定）。但光央却很讨厌香子。而过去高中时光央正是为了逃脱她，悄悄地、在香子不知道的情况下去报考这所大学。但事后还是被香子查觉，并报考与光央同样报考这所大学的法学系。 而这也成了万里与香子认识的契机。
