故事的起源發生在日本鐮倉時代。因為被哥哥源賴朝所追殺，源九郎與大和坊兩人流浪到了山中。在此時，兩人來到了一名叫黑蜜的美少女獨居的家中。義經慢慢與黑蜜產生了男女之情。但是這位少女卻隱藏了驚人的秘密，其實她是一個不老不死的吸血鬼。 被追兵重傷後瀕死的源義經接受了黑蜜所施的血的交換儀式，自己也成為了吸血鬼。從此以後，兩人一起開始了從鐮倉、室町、戰國、江戶、明治、大正、昭和、平成、近代以及未來的時間旅行。
