作品講述原貍貓一族名門下鴨家的家主被人類下火鍋後，不中用的下鴨四兄弟與其老母撐起家道中落的下鴨家的故事。老大矢一郎個性認真，但一到緊要關頭就手足無措；老二變身為青蛙，不肯出井底；老三最愛看好戲，喜歡惡作劇；老幺膽子小，變身總是忘了藏尾巴。不靠譜的四兄弟………困境重重、黴運不斷，四兄弟有機會保護母親，重振家威嗎？
