主角櫻市子是名擁有超乎常人的幸福能量、還會吸取他人的能量、進而擾亂人間界「運氣」平衡的少女。為了阻止她繼續破壞平衡，窮神紅葉被窮神界派來附身在櫻市子身上。市子和紅葉就此展開一場運氣爭奪戰。然而，隨著重要的人事物增加，市子的心境也產生了變化……。
