在被废弃的废墟中，迷路的少女，遇到了一位女性士兵。在士兵的手上有着金光闪闪的小号。“成为军人的话，就能吹小号！”抱着微微的误解，少女因对号手的憧憬而决心加入军队。空深彼方，15岁——。彼方被分配到名叫涩扎的街道的小型驻留部队、第1121小队。故事就从那样的新手士兵彼方，来到涩扎街时开始了。当天的涩扎街正在举行“泼水祭”。前往驻屯地的彼方，被卷入了祭典的骚乱中——。
