最上恭子本來只是一名京都的高中一年級生，因為青梅竹馬――不破尚的請求而放棄高中隨他來到東京。不破尚為成為藝人而努力，但恭子為了照顧他每天瘋狂打工、完全不顧自己卻無怨無悔。不破尚來東京不久後迅速走紅，開始疏離恭子。終於有一天恭子發現不破只是利用她。恭子受到巨大傷害，完全失去愛人和期待被愛的心。由於不破的一句：「如果你要想報仇就進入藝能界吧。」恭子以無比的怨恨來立志成為藝人，以狠狠打擊不破尚，之後故事內容就是關於女主角其後努力發展的故事。
