2086年，地球兩極發生逆轉，地球人類全滅，只有居住在月球的人類倖存下來，並在地磁穩定後的幾年在地球上重建了七個城市。其地位相當於月球的附庸或殖民地，為了充分控制七都市，月球還在大氣層外建立了一套防禦系統，即奧林帕斯系統，凡是距地面500米以上的有一定質量的飛行物都會被該系統自動擊毀。不久，由於隕石和不明病毒的原因，月面世界毀滅了，而奧林帕斯系統據估計還能自動運行200年的時間......
