孫悟空和轉世的烏普進行培訓的五年之後，十五歲的烏普受到孫悟空的教誨，成功地成為一名出色的菁英戰士。此時一心想征服世界的比拉夫與阿修及小舞一夥人闖入神殿裡竊得上一代天神和比克大魔王分體前創造的終極七龍珠。比拉夫大王不經意許下願望讓悟空變成小孩子後，終極七龍珠飛散宇宙各處，要是在一年內無法集齊終極七龍珠的話，最初許願的星球便會被自動毀滅。為了讓地球逃過爆炸的厄運，孫悟空和他的孫女小芳、特南克斯一同搭上宇宙船踏上尋找終極七龍珠以拯救地球的宇宙冒險之旅。
