這次的任務是守護新月島中「月之國」的王子。在遙遠的南方海上的小島「新月島」上的「月之國」是一個超級有錢的國家。該國的王子現在正在週遊世界的旅途之中，鳴人、卡卡西老師、小櫻、小李4人被賦予了保護王子安全返回新月島的重任…… 「月之國」的王子對於金錢的揮霍程度遠遠超過了鳴人等人的想像。似乎想要什麼都能用錢買下來。在旅行的途中，王子因為看中了從馬戲團中跑出來的珍貴「劍齒虎」，居然出錢把整個馬戲團買了下來。與任性的王子相處本來就已經夠麻煩了，身邊還多出了許多不聽話的動物。鳴人等人的每一天都充滿了危機，就這樣護送著王子回島……在前方等待著王子的是使用著恐怖忍術的迷之忍者三人組…… 襲擊鳴人他們的迷之忍者三人組的目的究竟是？
