(a nearly mahou shoujo display seen when swapping playstyles)<br /> Family: unknown, but mentions that both his parents are huge tennis fans<br /> <br /> Jousei Shonan's smug "idol" complete with screaming fangirls in tow (much to the consternation of his teammates), Wakato gets Jousei's singles off to a strong start with his flashy "Style of the Pretender"—the ability to copy almost perfectly top-ranked pros like Andre Agassi, Lleyton Hewitt, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker, Goran Ivanišević, etc. After determining his opponent's strengths and weaknesses, Wakato selects an appropriate counter style, but he can and does change style mid-match. He enjoys taunting other players, but can lose his cool if the match starts to go south.
