Souta Tawara is a 30 year old man working as a web designer in Tokyo. In the past, he had left his family's Udon place in his hometown Kagawa Prefecture, thinking it was lame and uncool. He briefly returns to his hometown in order to clean up his house and now-closed Udon place. Unexpectedly, he discovers a small child sleeping inside a large cauldron at his family's Udon place and learns of the child's secret. <br /> <br /> After a series of events, Souta names the child Poko and decides to return to Kagawa in order to live with Poko.<br /><br />
