Lady Miyako is the High Priestess of a temple in Neo-Tokyo and an instrumental leader in the battle against Tetsuo. She is a former test subject (#19) and possesses psychic powers. However, in the anime she was shown as a mere fanatic of Akira sect.<br /><br />
