Presumed dead in Final Fantasy VII, Rufus returns in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Infected with Geostigma, Rufus asks for Cloud's help to rebuild Shin-Ra. He also hides Jenova's head from Kadaj for most of the movie until he decides to reveal himself.<br /><br />
