Aman presides over her realm at the bottom of the Sargasso Sea, within a huge plastic bubble filled with a menagerie of ancient ships, planes, and other vehicles. She sends first an I-boat and then the hulk of the Japanese battleship Musashi to the surface in order to lure the Arcadia into her witch castle, where one day's time equals a hundred years on the the earth's surface (an updating of the famous Japanese tale of Urashima Taro.)
