We are actually introduced to Searchman before his operator Laika, who comes in a few episodes later. Similar to Laika, his attitude is that his Net Savior responsibility is his prime objective in everything that he does. He'll do anything to complete a mission, even if it means deleting innocent navis that get in the way. <br /> <br /> Obviously this kind of attitude puts him at odds with Rockman, but they eventually begin a friendship that becomes invaluable.
