Carrie is a character of the day who appeared in <i>An Appetite for Battle!</i>.<br /> <br /> While Carrie baked macarons, she encountered Clemont's Chespin, who was drawn to the aroma; she found it sleeping on her doorstep. She picked it up and let it rest on her couch. When Chespin woke up, Carrie gave it some of her macarons. Soon after, her husband Wylie returned home from a village tournament. Carrie immediately challenged him to a battle to settle an earlier quarrel, pitting Chespin against Wylie's Delphox.<br /> <br /> The battle caught the attention of Ash and his friends, with Clemont leaping to defend Chespin from an incoming Flamethrower. Clemont explained to Carrie that Chespin actually belonged to him and asked if he could take over the battle. Carrie agreed, and when the battle resumed, she took the role of referee.<br /> <br /> The battle was ultimately called off due to Wylie having back problems, although it had made Chespin closer to Clemont. Carrie helped Wylie up, and they settled their quarrel, which was revealed to have started when Wylie commented about Carrie eating too much, which offended her and caused her to take away his dinner. Now that their quarrel was over, Wylie revealed that he had bought Carrie a cake to make up for what he said.
