A doctor who saved Shogo from the police and took him to her mountain home. She trains him to be a marathon runner in hopes of healing his heart, but ends up falling for him. Her ex-husband attempts to get her back on several occasions until she saves Shogo from falling from a cliff, when she falls down the side of a mountain and goes blind. She confesses to Shogo shortly before her death.<br /> <br /> In the last pages of chapter five, she is shown to have the appearance as the Goddess in Shogo's visions.<br /><br />
