Yayoi is a kind-hearted girl who is very sheltered. She is confined to a wheelchair and relies on her close and dearest friend Kanako for support. She also appears to be the only person who Kanako does not resent. <br /> <br /> Yayoi is the story-teller in the storytelling parody vignettes in the anime. She quietly begins to tell her tale and often ends by beginning to say something stupid, which is promptly cut off. <br /> <br /> She plays the piano well.<br /> <br />
