When he was 7 years old, he moved next door to Tsubasa's house. He harbored a burning hostility towards Tsubasa and he tried to play every sport that Tsubasa played, but ended up losing every time. He also has a kind side, such as crying more than anyone else when Tsubasa was involved in an accident.
