A Tosa ronin and master of the Hokushin-itto-ryuu (Hokushin Single Sword Style). An acclaimed critic of the shogunate (and the Shinsengumi), but is not a part of the rebels. Speaks strangely, his weapon is a Smith & Wesson revolver. Was a friend of Tetsu's father.<br /><br />
