故事的舞台设定在一个被分割为东、西二颗星球的世界，为数众多的英雄正为了自己的霸权而奋斗。西之星的少女圣·辉夜·贞德受到上天的启示，从预言中目睹了拯救世界的“救星主”诞生。而贞德在被达·芬奇催促之下来到了东之星，并且同被称为“愚者”（ うつけ者）的疯狂年轻人——织田·信长相遇。可是没人知道，不久之后两人的相遇将引发两个星球之间的战乱。达·芬奇开发的最新型“奥世铠”在西之星没人能够启动，可是当信长乘坐上去后，这个超级兵器也复活了。从此，二人的命运为这世界带来了一系列，一场可歌可泣的物语故事。
