舞臺是1888年的英國。喬納森·喬斯達是以紳士為目標的青年貴族。他的父親喬治過去在一場意外中，誤將一名意圖想打劫他的男子達利歐·布蘭度當成自己的救命恩人，之後更是收留了達利歐的兒子迪奧·布蘭度（DIO）作為喬斯達家族的養子。然而迪奧卻企圖奪取其家產，他謀害喬治並戴上具有特殊力量的石鬼面，變成吸血鬼。
