日升社新作原创动画，由知名漫画家桂正和负责角色原案，而监督是曾执导过《鸦-KARAS-》的佐藤敬一。<br /> 故事以架空的高度现代化都市Stern Bild为舞台，聚集了各方种族的这里，也有被称为“NEXT”的超能力者。而这些人中，有人便以“超级英雄”作为正式职业，身着印着赞助厂商Logo的战斗服，守护着城市中的和平。<br /> 在这样的世界中，也有以报导这些超级英雄为主题的高人气节目《HERO TV》，并会在每年依照他们的活跃度进行所谓的“英雄排名榜”，第一名将获得“KING OF HERO”的称号。<br /> 身为超级英雄之一的Wild Tiger（镝木・T・虎彻），曾是站在业界顶端的老手，我行我素的他在不知不觉间有了“正义的破坏王”之称号。而他突然被要求与新人巴纳比（Barnaby Brooks Jr.）组队活动。工作与私生活都地处绝地的两个人将携手向恶势力进攻。
