身世坎坷的主角泰德是帝國陸軍士官學校的優秀學生，某日他得知自己的父親慘遭帝國軍殺害。而在他在逃亡的過程中，遇上了一群另類的主教。而之後泰德的摯友米卡傑卻被人操縱靈魂並因此喪命，痛失摯友的泰德決定接受主教試驗，讓自己更有力量對抗帝國軍。而帝國軍對泰德的迫害，以及他的真實身分之謎都將逐一的明朗化。
