主角天宮奏在打工時，因為展現了過人的耐心和熱情被星探發掘，而在參觀D-Four事務所時，被初級班成員佐佐木純哉激起了好勝心。並在第一次的舞台表演後，確信了自己「很喜歡看見人們露出笑容」的心情，正式加入D-Four事務所，以在夢之祭上取得出道的資格為目標，邁向偶像之路。 而通過種種磨合、溝通而理解之後，天宮奏和及川慎、佐佐木純哉、澤村千弦、片桐伊月，5個人組成了偶像團體「DearDream」，並與黑石勇人、風間圭吾所組成的「KUROFUNE」在事務所舉辦的「夢之祭」比賽中一較高下。 究竟誰才能在夢之祭上勝出，獲得正式出道的機會呢？
